| He himself says in the book that it is impossible for anyone to write objectively about themselves and he is no exception. There is no information on his family life which is justified by the fact that it is very personal to him and he has the right to do so, news online but for readers news online that are looking for a well rounded and detailed account of a man who revolutionized the film industry with a new style of acting and became an icon for his lifestyle, this probably isn't news online a good source. Brando was very egocentric, and although he tries to belie that fact in his selective writings, this reader still thinks it shines through at moments. His portrayal of every actor he worked with that posed a threat to his ego was a disparaging one. His condescending tone towards some of the greatest film icons of time in my opinion portrayed him as ignorant and maybe even a little, dare I say, insecure. |
