I'm glad we were prepared enough with birth control measures (and the condoms, though safer sex wasn't yet the known quantity it is now, nor did we even have that language -- in 1986 few people were familiar with HIV or AIDS yet, the test for HIV was just invented, and our president didn't even use the word "AIDS" out loud until a year later). |
