It's an interesting read, and I appreciate her descriptions of navigating health care and using the resources she has to learn what she can on her own. It's very seattle short; I read it in about two hours. It's certainly not the best book I've read. She seems unlikeable and whiny, and in the end, I wasn't all that interested in how things turned out for her. | I felt there were lapses where your life narrative should have been. Although it must FEEL(have felt) like you are(were) living life in a "tent" seeking relief... I parenting felt the absence of whatever else was happening in your life. The friends seemed a bit parenting one-dimensional-- in that they were only a sounding board for the vulva experience. I would reccomend it... parenting but with the disclaimer-- Camera's not mentioned once in this book.... (...). It was a quick read however, and an excercise in empathy. Just when I thought I was having a bad day..... well, by comparison,...you get the idea. Was this review helpful to you?
