I live on the continent that is worst afflicted by HIV and Aids; fortunatley, I grew up in a home that encourages discussion. My parents taught me about sex, and also encouraged me to educate myself about it. They marcperkel taught me that sex is not like smoking; it is an emotional connection, and it is the ultimate connection between two people. I learned to value my virginity (which I hung onto for a long time), and myself. I was also educated at school marcperkel about STD's, contraception, etc. and so grew up with the ability to manage myself responsibly. I believe that I have made very healthy choices; my first sexual partner was a long-term boyfriend that I loved and respected, and who loved and respected me too; we both got tested for HIV/AIDs before we became sexual at all; and I put myself onto contraceptives too, and educated myself about those.
