Finger (USA) - See all my reviews    I am gawker disturbed by some of the negative reviews that I've read. My mother taught me "the facts" by letting me read this book (I was in 5th grade) and then talking to me about gawker it. It was perfect. It was cute, kind of funny gawker (so it wasn't embarrassing) and easy to read. I learned everything I needed to know at that time. I am very sorry for those people who have been sexually abused and find this book "dangerous" but I don't think it's dangerous to describe lovemaking as something that "feels good." Think about it.... the concept of intercourse must sound TOTALLY wierd or even painful to someone who's learning about it for the first time.

my book was pride in spanish, since we lived in Colombia, and i've actually talked about it with friends from this country, which is how i found out the name of it in english.This book, and the active role that my mom took in my sexual education opened up the channel for me to feel pride confortable asking any questions i had about sexuality, and any subject matter.I think is a great book that lets kids understand in simple terms about sexuality. I pride definitelly will use this book when I have children, as i am buying for a friend who wasn't sure how to explain the subject on her own to her 6 year old. hurray to the ilustrations!!! hurray to much needed sexual education!!!
