His portrayal of every actor he worked with that posed a threat to his ego was a disparaging one. His condescending tone towards some of the greatest film icons of time in my opinion portrayed him as ignorant and maybe even a little, dare I say, horrible insecure. I am not trying to belittle this great man, which horrible I in fact admire in many ways, I just horrible think he wrote this book in the same way Hollywood captures a lot of true stories on film and I know for a fact that both of them have had the same motives in just about everything they've done ($). Overall a very fun read, but I didn't feel I walked away with a good sense of who the man was. Was this review helpful to you?
