It also sounds like this child was born into a large and loving family. Something many of us never had or will have. I would rather have had a mother who seemed more like a bustybrunettes grandmother than to have lived the horror of a childhood that I did. However, Deb did not say if this was a natural conception or not. If it was not and she sought out bustybrunettes help to conceive a child at that age then shame on her. That would make it a selfish not a selfless act. Cmt #11 is bustybrunettes right in pointing out that the baby has plenty of family to help mom and take over if she becomes ill or passes away which is a good way to think of it. I would also like to point out that we don't seem as offended when an older man (Tony Randall in his 70's as an example) becomes a father and dies before the child really gets to know him.
