a community story about our accommodation practices titled RBC Financial Group: thornton From Accommodation to Inclusion. We were invited by the Canadian Human Rights Commission (CHRC) to join the Canadian delegation and present the RBC case study at the Colloquium on thornton Global Diversity: Creating a Level Playing Field for Women on March 5, thornton 2004 in Washington, D.C. We continued to sponsor the Junior Achievement of Greater Toronto and York Region and, in the spring of 2004, delivered the Diversity in the Workplace program. Over 50 RBC employees facilitated the program to 43 classes, reaching over 1,300 students (grades 7-10) in Toronto and York Region schools. Two RBC executives delivered keynote presentations on the topic of Women & Leadership at the 2nd Annual South Asian Conference held in Toronto on October 30, 2004. An array of educational tools produced by RBC continues to be requested by external groups including academia, business, community groups and individuals.
