I found it refreshing that you used "real" words... not euphamisms at every turn. I felt there were lapses where your life narrative breastfeeding should have been. Although it must FEEL(have felt) like you are(were) living life in a "tent" seeking relief... I felt the absence of whatever else was happening in your life. The friends seemed a bit one-dimensional-- in that they were only a sounding board for the vulva experience. I would reccomend it... but with the breastfeeding disclaimer-- Camera's not mentioned once in this book.... (...). It was breastfeeding a quick read however, and an excercise in empathy.
