This is when I was working on my MA in Comparative Studies at Ohio State, and I wasn't really in rhet/comp yet, though I saw myself going that way. I chose to submit mine, and it was accepted. Ironically, the professor and two doctoral students in the course had their proposals rejected. By the time the conference came around, I had applied and been rejected from the PhD program. |
