| York: This might have been my best conference experience. First, I participated in the feminist workshop held the day before the conference, giving a talk entitled "Outlaws and Angels: Gay Men in/and/for Feminism." A few days before the proposal deadline, a friend and I thought of papers on Girl, Interrupted. We sent out an email to a couple of people asking if anyone wanted to join a panel. Someone sent it to WPA-L, and we got a couple of great responses from random strangers, and we put together a panel on feminist autobiography. |
