| My mother and my grandmother, who lived across the street from us when I plugin was a kid, are/were fanatical cleaners, almost(?) to the point of mental illness. I remember coming home from school and my grandmother having most of her furnishings and belongings dragged out on the front lawn, and her swinging a broom, beating hell out of a mattress.
