I must have submitted something, but I can't remember. Da Man did go to this one chicagosun times (I'd been back in Ohio since 2000). I was only there for half the conference. I actually had two job chicagosun times interviews. At one, I was told I was not the right fit for their area, but if they'd had an opening in another area, chicagosun times they would hire me on the spot. As for the second, they wanted to bring me to campus but their chair told them no since I said I would not finish the dissertation until at least December. I think those interviews helped me get the confidence for the big round at MLA later that year.2003--New York: This might have been my best conference experience. First, I participated in the feminist workshop held the day before the conference, giving a talk entitled "Outlaws and Angels: Gay Men in/and/for Feminism." I gave it to the whole group, which has me incredibly nervous, but I was also happy with it.
