Westerberg, along with Ray Davies, Randy Newman, Neil Young, Nick Lowe, Robyn Hitchcock, Steve Earle, and just a few others, is a music god to me. I weaseled my way into a record company sponsored bowling party(!?) held in his honor years ago, and actually got to sit down and talk with the guy. And I sucked enough ass to be able to be in the studio as he performed a live radio show for 99X in Atlanta, as well. |
