It's a nice place, and we'll be back. That's what we told ourselves as we drove, we'll fat butt be back. And that's pretty much the story of what I did on my summer fat butt vacation. We spent Saturday night at a place called AmeriCamps near Richmond, but it was fairly uneventful. The best part of that deal was the thirty-five cent fat butt ice cream cones at the general store. When we finally got home on Sunday our house felt like MC Hammer's place. It looked goddamn huge, and walls that don't move in the wind? Luxury. A week later, I'd have to rate our inaugural camping excursion a strong B. Plenty of room for improvement, for sure, but clearly successful. It could've very easily turned into an episode of Lucy, but it was OK. Semi-shocking. Here are a bunch of photos I took on the trip. I hope this hasn't been too painful.
