Permalink What I did today Posted: March 5, 2006 Classification: Today I woke up feeling pretty crummy so I decided I did not feel up to going to Claremont with my father and brother. I slept in later than usual and only by thinking of food, woke up and took a shower. I finished Jane Austen's "Emma" for school and to reward myself, sat on the couch and read Larry McMurty's The Last Picture Show which said that the movie is "bold and brilliant." And I just happened to miss that movie two nights ago because TCM showed it too late. Literarily, Emma was superior but I felt in the mood afterward for some pulp fiction like mind numbing 300 pages and zipped through 'Picture Show' pretty fast. IT was entertaining and by 5PM I washed the dishes and took the dog for a walk, feeling a little better. And that was my day.
